Overview

From the Configure menu, you can configure profiles for different device types and models. 

The Configure menu also provides management of authentication servers and local authentication database for connection and access control. The Schedule Policies provides scheduling methods for a variety of functions, for example, Traffic Management, Firewall, and Port Schedule. It also allows you to customize splash pages to present to clients in different use cases.

Note: The availability of the menus of the Configuration page depends on the access privilege.

Access Point

The AP section provides configuration menus for AP devices. It allows you to configure profiles based on device model or devices individually. The access management of wireless network using IP ACLs can also be configured.

Switch

The Switch section provides configuration menus for switch devices. It allows you to configure profiles based on device model or devices individually. It also allows operations on selected groups of ports such as bandwidth aggregation and port mirroring.

Gateway

The Gateway section provides configuration menus for gateway devices. It allows you to configure profiles based on device model or devices individually.

Authentication

The Authentication section provides Local Authentication database and Authentication Server management  to facilitate a variety of authentication methods or infrastructures for Wi-Fi  and VPN connectivity.

MAC ACLs

The MAC ACLs provides access control  by filtering devices' MAC addresses of an Ethernet frame.

Walled Garden

The Walled Garden restricts or redirects clients to certain web addresses before they are authenticated for network access.

Schedule Policies

The Schedule Policies facilitate scheduling for access control and security functions such as port availability for switches, and firewall functions and application control for gateways.

Splash Pages

The Splash Pages allow configuration and customization of splash pages to use with the SSID. This can be configured to have users click through or enter credentials to access the network. You can either customize any of the default splash pages or create your own unique splash pages.
